Parkbadet is Sandviken's beloved and well-visited swimming and wellness facility with a wide range of experiences, wellness, and training. The facility has many visitors and is located next to the city park in central Sandviken.

Parkbadet features an adventure pool with slides, eight swimming lanes, a training pool, and a diving pool, relaxation area, gym, and a café, as well as large areas for group training. Our primary mission is to offer various forms of training in water, swimming lessons, and at the same time be an attractive adventure pool and a complete wellness facility: We aim to contribute to well-being for both body and soul. During the summer, Parkbadet also operates Storviksbadet, which is an outdoor pool with four different pools.

The Culture and Leisure Administration has a broad recreational activity that includes Parkbadet, sports and sports facilities, outdoor life, a leisure bank, outdoor pools, and meeting places for youth. The cultural activities include, among other things, a Cultural Center with a library, art hall, and cultural school, as well as several stages.

We are looking for temporary staff for longer assignments during the summer of 2026 at Parkbadet and Storviksbadet, as well as shorter assignments as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be an important part of the overall experience at Parkbadet. We want to offer a wide range of experiences, from adventure pools and swimming lessons to group training, and it will be your task to ensure that guests feel comfortable, safe, and that everything is clean and tidy.

In your daily work as a lifeguard, you will collaborate with your colleagues at the pool and primarily perform lifeguarding and cleaning duties. The work may be carried out at both Parkbadet and Storviksbadet.

In the role of receptionist, you will be the one welcoming our customers and handling all administrative tasks related to sales and bookings.

As an employee at Parkbadet, you will create a welcoming environment for swimming experiences, wellness, and training together with your colleagues. An environment where our customers and visitors enjoy being and often return to.

The working hours are shifts that include both morning/afternoon and weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Swimming ability is a requirement, and you are expected to pass a swimming and lifesaving test during the recruitment process. This applies regardless of the role. We provide internal training for all who are recruited.

It is an advantage if you have experience from working in the swimming industry and/or swimming instructor/pool lifeguard training or other training that the employer deems equivalent.

You must be at least 18 years old, and as a person, you are engaged, service-oriented, and have an easy time handling various social situations. You find it easy to collaborate with others, are responsible, can take initiatives, and can work flexibly, day, evening, and weekend.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
